"Offerings" new works by Kathleen Lolley

November 3rd through November 25th, 2017

“Offerings” explores themes of mourning along with happiness and joy. Flowers, skeletons and offerings adorn dark canvases. Inspired by Dias de los Muertos and plant lore, these pieces are meant to be a magical tableau for loved ones, living and departed alike.

Kathleen Lolley is a visual artist living and working in the Black Forest, USA. Storytelling plays a prominent role in her work. She studied film and animation at California Institute of the Arts and has exhibited her paintings both nationally and internationally.
